Bergkvara Port is licensed by new Environment law. We are also ISPS ( International Security Port Standard) licensed, which means there are some restrictions for the public within port neighbourhood.

Harbour services

Big or small, all customers are important to us. We provide full services for big as well as small vessels and can arrange supply of water, shore electricity and stores. Bergkvara Port and Stevedore co-operate with sawmills of different sizes. We are ready to provide an extendend service for trade increase for export as well as for import. 

Facts about the harbour

The port of Bergkvara offers more than 300 meters of quay lenghts on new built Victoria quay wich can take vessels up to 140 m lenght and Modo quay vessels up to 120 m lenght. Maximum permitted draft is 5,5 m. The import cargo consists mainly of timber and fertilizers. Export products handled is mainly wood chips and pulp wood. We can offer about 50.000 m2 open area storage.
